SDL_image is an image file loading library. It loads images as SDL surfaces, and supports the following formats: BMP, GIF, JPEG, LBM, PCX, PNG, PNM, TGA, TIFF, XCF, XPM, XV.

Global installation:
  runhaskell Setup.lhs configure
  runhaskell Setup.lhs build
  runhaskell Setup.lhs install # as root

Local installation:
  runhaskell Setup.lhs configure --prefix=[HOME]/usr --user
  runhaskell Setup.lhs build
  runhaskell Setup.lhs install --user # not as root
